Meet the Teachers

Miss Maggie Purr ARAD RTS RAD Principal
Maggie Purr trained as a professional ballet dancer at Central School of Ballet, London. She has toured extensively throughout the world with Vienna Festival Ballet, the National Dance Company of Ireland and recently performed in the World Tour of Phantom of the Opera in Taipei, Hong Kong and Singapore.

She graduated from the RAD Teachers Certificate with distinction and has nine years of teaching experience, specializing in pre-school ballet. Maggie is currently studying her Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Psychology and hopes to focus on movement therapy for children.

Maggie launched the hugely successful Twinkle Tots classes in Brisbane, Australia and is so excited to have brought her Twinkle Tots concept to the UK.

 
Miss Donya Ambler RAD CBTS  
Donya started dancing at the age of 2 and a half years old. By the age of 9, she was dancing with the European Ballet Company. She has danced Solo's with the BRB in productions such as Facade and Firebird. Donya currently teaches in several dance schools in the Berkshire area as well as studying at the RAD gaining a certificate in ballet teaching studies
   
Miss Louise Dolphin FDI ISTD

Miss Louise started dancing at a local dance school when she was 3 years old. At the age of 18, she continued her training at Italia Conti Arts Centre, London, which is one of the UK's most prestigious dance and performing arts institutions, graduating  in 2007 with a 3 year diploma in Teaching with Performing Arts, She performed in many shows including Chicago and Wicked.

Miss Louise is a fully qualified dance teacher. She holds her Diploma In Dance Instruction (2008) and has recently completed her Diploma in Dance Education. Louise has five years experience teaching ballet, tap, modern and jazz in the Surrey and Berkshire area.  Louise holds a current CRB Police Check, a full matrons licence, she is a registered chaperone, and a qualified first-aider.
Louise now teaches at dance schools across Surrey and Berkshire.
   
Miss Hannah Thompson BA (Hons) Ballet Education RAD RTS
Miss Hannah began dancing at the age of 3 and went on to complete her RAD graded examinations and as well as an A level in dance. At age 18 she was awarded a place on the Royal Academy of Dance degree course in Ballet Education and went on to study at the headquarters in London. Hannah graduated in 2008 with a BA Hons in Ballet Education as well as registered teacher status, whilst training in London she also studied for the licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance.

Keen to further her knowledge and experience Miss Hannah continued to study and in 2010 was awarded a post graduate certification in education from the Royal Academy of Dance and went on to teach dance in secondary schools in Coventry. Excited about returning to London Miss Hannah is looking forward to bringing her enthusiasm and experience to Twinkle Tots Dance and creating a vibrant and enjoyable environment for students to learn in.
   
Miss Hannah Spooner BA(Hons) RTS LRAD ARAD

Hannah started dancing at the age of 3 at local dance schools to complete her graded and vocational RAD examinations. Continuing her training, she completed her A-level in Dance. After A-Levels, Hannah was offered a place at the Royal Academy of Dance to study for a degree in Ballet Education where she then received registered teacher status graduating in 2011. Alongside her degree she also studied the Licentiate of the Royal academy of dance and also gained the Associate of the Royal academy of dance certificate after achieving her RAD Advanced 2 examination.

Upon graduating, Hannah has been working as a freelance ballet teacher around the Surrey area. Hannah is a highly motivated dance teacher with a passion for dance and is looking forward to developing your childrens' growth and access to dance at Twinkle Tots.
Miss Henri Tatton ARAD

Henri started dancing at the age of 3. She gained her RAD Advanced Ballet, ISTD Tap and Modern exams at a young age. She then went on to study her performance and teacher training at The Theatre School, Edinburgh in 1987, finally attending the prestigious West Street School of Dance in Covent Garden, London for 3 years gaining a first class Diploma in Dance. On leaving college, Henri enjoyed a career as a professional dancer. Her experience on stage includes The Broadway Musical Company touring Japan, The Lido Paris World Tour, Dancer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Jean Ann Ryan Production Crusies where she performed in Grease, Snow White & Cinderella at the Eden Court Theatre Inverness, Dancer at DisneyLand Paris and performing with the Scottish Ballet in Romeo and Juliet.

Henri and her husband (also a professional dancer) moved to the Stamford area in 2001. Henri joined the Welland School of Dancing teaching staff in 2011. She also teaches for Twinkle Tots Dance in Brooke Priory School, Oakham and in Wymondham. Henri is an associate of the Royal Academy of Dance, CRB police checked, is a licensed chaperone and holds public liability insurance.
Miss Antonia Hall Ba (Hons) DDI

Antonia has always been passionate about performing arts and has a particular interest in Dance and Drama. She graduated from Arts Educational School, Tring in 2005 with a 2 year Performance and Musical Theatre Diploma. She then went on to gain her BA (Hons) in Drama at Winchester University and a Diploma in Acting from Guildford School of Acting (2005). She holds her Faculty of Dance instruction (DDI) and Imperial Society Teacher's of Dance Intermediate qualifications in both Ballet and Modern Dance.

Previous to Twinkle Tots, Antonia taught dance for Winchester Theatre Royal, Baughurst Youth theatre and Stagecoach; and in summer 2008 was invited to the Frenchwoods Festival of the Performing Arts, New York as dance teacher and choreographer. Antonia says "I thoroughly enjoy performing, choreographing and sharing my interest of ballet with young people. That’s why I love working with all the Twinkle Tots and Budding Ballerina’s”. Like all Twinkle Tots Dance teachers, Antonia holds her full CRB enhanced disclosure, and Public Liability insurance.
